RAW ARTISTIC SOUL - Zaab
RAW ARTISTIC SOUL is back to showcase once more incredible music & freshness. “Zaab” is the first single release taken from the forthcoming album "You got rhythm too". The very original funk- & soul-trip with that special Phil Kullmann touch features the amazing guitar and scat-vocal talent of “Patrick Wieland”. It captures the spirit of George Benson, almost to a classical level, but in a very up-to-date way thanks to it’s tough deep house beat. Like all RAW ARTISTIC SOUL tracks it has a strong emphasis on an organic sound and it makes clear that Phil Kullmann is one of the finest German house producers.



RELEASE DETAILS


On the “Main Mix” you will find yourself dancing while rather drifting away on the spheric guitar riffs perfectly phasing off with the scat vocal. Right in the middle of the tune you can’t hold back to throw your hands in the air for the uplifting “space-disco-guitar“ part. Two additional cuts - the “Vocal Dub” and the “Minimal Dub” - give you the choice, wheater more to stick on the scat or on a back to basics, stripped down “beat, guitar, baseline gem”. A fine trilogy of mixes, which also are perfect to mash them up. This offers the creative DJ to deliver his very own arrangement.
The release is completed by a thoroughly thick Ralf GUM mix, that is, you can say a slamming monster. Very dry, raw and funky - simply straight to the floor. You should pay attention to the details that make this such an interesting track. With Ralf GUM’s typical tight percussion and deepness, plus the use of an interesting beat pattern this is just ideal for the sophisticated clubs.

This 12” again cannot fail to set off the goosebumps and is something supremely original, contemporary and relevant to todays scene.
